Baby Girl: Harajuku Mini for Target

I can't tell you how darling I find Gwen Stefani's Harajuku Mini for Target collection! granted I love everything the woman touches. ♥ This collection is bananas and I dont even have a baby! The pink, the tulle, the polka dots and stripes, it's all adorable. Look at those leg warmers!

This collection also includes clothing for toddlers and tweens, including some outfits for boys as well. Along with these super kawaii pieces there are some accessories like handbags and backpacks with the Harajuku Lovers in mini form. The Harajuku Mini collection will be out on November 13th. Circus-Themed Nursery Ideas

So sorry for the delay, this was supposed to be posted yesterday but my editor was acting crazy.  I picked these items for their unisex colors and this theme can also transition into a toddler/big kid room nicely. Tomorrow is the big day! Water for Elephants premieres and it's mine and my husband's 3 year anniversary, yay! I hope you've enjoyed all the circus inspiration I'll post a bit more tomorrow as well. Isn't this photography darling?? Sandrine Castellan's has great perspective with inviting light. I love the styling and wardrobe for this whimsical shoot, it's so dreamy. Not to mention these little girls are adorable. The mixture of layers, textures and patterns- it's like the little girls dressed themselves. I like that.

It seems as though everyone lately has been in baby-mode. Well, girls at least. There are just so many cute things for babies lately that I guess our maternal instincts er, should I say shopping instincts are taking over. Baby blogs, perfectly styled baby showers, adorable baby clothes, and not to mention nursery re-designs, have become the "it" thing. I've stumbled upon some myself that I can't help but follow. So what if a girl's not pregnant, that's why there's a nesting phase. Here is one of my favorites blogs of the moment. This is most likely going to turn in to a series, there are so many lovely things, so stay tuned.

Lay Baby Lay is a new blog where the author styles rooms based off of readers requests and color palettes. She has fantastic taste and a great eye for color and design. The middle nursery is her own, so lovely.

Color Palette: French Pastry Themed Nursery

 I designed this color palette for my dear friend Sydney who is pregnant and planning to style her nursery themed after French pastries. Delicious idea, I know! Lucky girl got to study abroad in France, so she's tasted first-hand all the treats that serve as her inspiration.  I couldn't help but base it off of this pretty watercolor that I had in my Tumblr archive, and that she also had picked out. Can't wait to see the end result!
